Description
Light orange colored fruit with a slight red blush, Moongold has a sweet flavor that is slightly acidic. Fragrant white flowers bloom around the 3rd week of April, and the 1.75” freestone fruits that follow will hang on the tree until they ripen in late July. ‘Sungold’ is a recommended pollinator. Great for eating fresh, in sauce, or jam. Yellow fall color. A moderate grower with a rounded form. Tolerant of urban pollution and a range of soil pH and types.
