Sales Policy

Things you may need to know…

Guarantee

First and foremost, we do not charge you up front for 3 trees and then offer a blanket guarantee. There are many factors that affect how a tree begins to grow and once the tree leaves us, we have no control over those conditions. As such, the buyer is responsible for the majority of the outcome. Please make sure you never let the roots dry out and plant and protect your tree.

There are occasional instances where something went wrong in the overwintering of the trees before we get them. This is usually reflected in all of the trees of a certain kind failing to leaf out in the spring. Please contact me if you have trouble with your tree as it is important for me to track this.

If, on a case by case basis we discover an issue, we always replace the tree the following year and do not issue refunds. Trees take decades to grow and while losing one year of growing is not ideal, it is nothing compared to the life of the tree.

Bare Root

We do not sell trees bare root as a rule. This is far too risky as few people understand how extremely important it is to keep the roots from drying out and out of the sun/heat/freezing conditions. There is no discount for bare root trees and the only reason to do this is for the ease of transportation. We can bag roots if the trees are picked up within a day or two of when they first arrive here. There is positively NO guarantee whatsoever if you take your plants bare root.

Pots

We do everything we can to keep the prices low. You are encouraged to shop around and compare prices on the same size/quality trees as we offer. One of the ways we keep prices low is through re-using pots. Aside from the savings for you or future customers, who wants to throw away a big chunk of plastic which can easily be reused? To return pots, simply drop them off outside the store any time day or night.

Contact Me

Above all else, please call or text me about any issues you might be having: 949-547-1384. I want to take care of you one way or another. Keep in mind, sometimes newly planted trees take a long time to break bud. Do not panic. Continue to water and care for your tree until at least mid-June.  If at that point, your tree still has not broken bud, then contact me.
